Welcome to a fantastic New Year!

We are very excited about 2015, and all the changes here at ecoShuttle!  The last six months have been busy for us. We have finally found a perfect new location, we’ve expanded our fleet and added new staff. The demand for eco-friendly transportation is increasing, and we are working hard to keep up with the demand!

August 1st, of 2014, we relocated to our beautiful new home in Sherwood/ Wilsonville.  With the additional gated and secured space, we can comfortably accommodate the vehicles we’ve added and still allow for expected growth. We now have much larger office and meeting spaces as well as a fully equipped drivers room, modern maintenance facilities, training offices and more, all located in one peaceful forested place!  With easy I-5 access, our employees and customers can reach us quickly. Our new home will provide us with the elbow room we need as we continue to expand and give us the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and friendly community, which we look forward to becoming a valuable partner in. We are also excited to have added to our fleet of vehicles!  With coaches that seat up to 55 passengers, we can accommodate a wide range of group sizes.  Our newest addition, painted a bright orange and white, seats 47 and services the Lewis & Clark Pioneer Express. We are also in the process of procuring 2 luxury coaches from North Dakota!

In addition to our General Manager Lisa Holcomb Krahl, ecoShuttle added a great deal of new talent in 2014!  Ms. Krahl, who joined our staff after Raz Transportation closed its doors sadly at the beginning of 2014 comes to us with over 30 years in transportation with a high focus on safety, training, compliance and driver management. Her primary focus is to make sure that all aspects of the team are functioning to the best interest of customer service and public safety.

Also joining us from Raz transportation is S. Dan Taylor, former Operations Manager. Mr. Taylor has been working in the transportation industry since 1972.  Dan retired from UPS in 2004 with a background in operations and industrial engineering. With an emphasis in driver methods, safety, and compliance training, it is clear that he would be a huge asset to this team. His logistics expertise is a welcome addition to our ever changing fleet.

We are additionally excited to welcome Ed Kelly to our team roster as Training and Compliance Specialist. Ed was the safety coordinator for the Kroger Dairy Plant and was responsible for all training, and implementation of the written safety program. Ed also chaired the Safety Committee, and was trained and certified by OSHA.  Along with traditional based safety focus, Ed is well versed and certified in Behavioral Safety. Ed has over 144 hours of OSHA training and holds multiple certificates, including Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response.

Joining our Sales and Marketing Dept. to assist our own Mark Klosterman, Department manager, is Leslie (Jennifer) Castle. Jen is a working driver with knowledge of both sides of the charter/ Motorcoach industry, gained in her time spent in Alaska with Holland America Princess Lines. She will be working with social media outlets to bring you all the latest in sustainable transportation service and ideas for lots of fun events!

Other new team members include several full-time and part-time drivers in addition to our awesome shop staff!

As we continue to grow, new team members will be expected to provide the same excellent customer service that has been the basis of our company mission from the beginning.  We look forward to meeting each new client and guest, and to providing them with a safe, reliable, memorable, and environmentally friendly transportation experience.  The staff here at ecoShuttle will continue to look for ways to improve the rider experience and add new travel options as we drive into 2015. Welcome aboard and we look forward to our journey together!

Happy New Year from all of us here at ecoShuttle!
